I agree in regards to Tsuiokuhen. Even if the animation's been surpassed, it still has a wondrous beauty to it, standing especially in contrast to the cheaper television animation of the series.
Yes! For example, I’m pretty fond of the animation to Madoka Magica, but it seems so strange to me that they wouldn’t clean up their animation before releasing the show. Looking at the differences between the episodes originally aired on television versus the blu ray release, the difference is almost night and day in some cases. I know that the studios are pushed to publish work on a schedule, but just putting the finishing touches on it before it’s aired would be nice.
The most disappointing thing about Heavy Rain was that it had such amazing atmosphere and I wish I could just take that and put it into a game that was actually good.
Nooo! I love Heavy Rain! Granted, there are plot holes out the ass though. When I was actually playing the game, I was thinking, “Oh my god, this game is so fantastic, story is so good, best game ever!” And then I actually thought about everything wrong with the story…
Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Now if only I could get the Kamikaze trophy to platinum it…
About the Macklemore thing what doe him having to be white and straight have to do with anything? Why does it matter if hes using his fame to spread a message and support a cause?
and that’s nice. good for him. but WHY is he specifically being considered ~*revolutionary*~ and able to be the singular “voice” on issues of a community to which he doesn’t even belong to, when there are already plenty of LGBTQ (POC especially!!) artists who are perfectly capable on speaking on these matters themselves?? yet they are constantly getting sidelined and remain silenced while Macklemore is being treated as if he is the first person to talk about these issues. just…I’m not here for that.
(…and let me not even get into how I feel about when he mentioned Trayvon Martin and racial profiling in his acceptance speech at the AMAs. I’ve been side-eying him even harder since then tbh. media praises him for it, similar shit).
the point is: it doesn’t matter wtf is said from marginalized people until a white straight male says it. that’s the problem and why it fucking matters.
tumblr will find a way to be offended about anything
it’s breeding a generation of people who need to be coddled and protected from life, growing up believing that everyone should hold up a metaphorical sign saying ‘TRIGGER WARNING’ before anything that might be considered offensive (everything)
